National Payroll Week Festivities Underway at APS

APS, a leader in cloud-based HCM solutions and payroll tax compliance services, is currently participating in National Payroll Week (NPW) from September 4-8, 2017. NPW is a public awareness campaign that pays tribute to payroll professionals and the more than 156 million people who work in the United States. This year’s theme, American Works Because We’re Working for America, highlights the payroll professionals who support the American system by not only processing wages, but also reporting earnings and withholding employment taxes, which keep America running smoothly.
APS and National Payroll Week So Far:
APS chose the theme Paytriotic Since 1996 and started showing that patriotism before NPW began. APS created a virtual Food Bank with the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank in order to aid Hurricane Harvey victims. For every $1 donated, up to $10 worth of food can be purchased by the Food Bank! If you’d like to participate, you may click on the image to the right to help in Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
On Tuesday, September 5, everyone here at APS enjoyed spending time getting to know one another with our APS Bingo game. The game was a great way for all of our employees to get to know one another better. We also treated our hard-working staff to a frozen yogurt bar courtesy of Counter Culture.
On September 6, we celebrated with Smoothies and Snacks from Smoothie King. We also started our photo contest and we can’t wait to see which of our employees can take the most pictures!
Other events coming up for the rest of the week include:
- Thursday, September 7 - Breakfast for our Paytriotic Payroll Professionals.
- Friday, September 8 – A catered lunch and a payroll Jeopardy contest.
All of the winners of our contests from throughout the week will be announced on Friday, so stay tuned! In the meantime, check out a few pictures from this week below:
