APS Slides into Summer with Most G2 Badges To Date

APS has earned its most badges to date in the G2 Summer 2019 Reports, including new recognitions for our payroll and HR software this season. APS acquired 53 badges overall from G2’s Grid Reports, Index Reports, and Momentum Grids. These research reports are generated from reviews by actual users of the APS platform, so you get an honest look into the performance of the system, our support model, and how we compare to our competitors. Momentum Grid Leader for Payroll and HR Software

APS has been named a Momentum leader in the G2 Momentum Grid® for 8 out of the 10 categories available for payroll and HR software. The Momentum Grid provides a look into solutions that are outpacing industry growth with technology that meets the evolving needs of their customers. These companies are pushing the boundaries in the workforce management market.

G2 Momentum Grid Summer 2019

A product’s Momentum score is calculated by a G2 algorithm made up of social and web growth, review quality, and customer satisfaction. Companies with a top 25% Momentum Grid score are named Momentum leaders in their specific category. APS earned the Momentum Grid Leader award in the following categories:

22 Payroll and HR Specialty Badges Earned in Index Reports

APS’ payroll and HR software earned 22 specialty badges in the Summer 2019 Index Reports®. G2’s Index Reports highlight specific buying factors for prospects looking to purchase a vendor’s software product. These index reports are also broken down by company size, so you can research vendors that can best support your company’s needs and volume.

Index Reports are segmented by the following buying factors:

  • Implementation: This index highlights user responses to questions concerning the implementation of the product such as time to go live and ease of setup.
  • Relationship: Prospecting buyers can use this index to review user feedback regarding their relationship with a software vendor. Review scores for this index are based on the likelihood to recommend the product, ease of doing business with the vendor, and the quality of support.
  • Results: Report viewers can see the results users have experienced from a software vendor’s product based on estimated return on investment and user adoption.
  • Usability: This index report features data on a vendor’s product functionality. Read how real customers rate vendors based on how their product or service meets their requirements and is easy to use.

APS earned the following specialty badges in G2’s Summer 2019 Index Reports:


23 Badges Acquired from Grid Reports

From G2’s Grid Report Badges, APS acquired 23 badges this season for our payroll and Core HR solution. G2 Grid Reports® are used to compare software products based on user satisfaction, market presence, and feature rating scores. These reports provide vendor profiles, feature comparisons, and additional product data.

Software vendors can earn one of four Grid Report badges:

  • Leader: Leader products are rated highly by software users and have significant market presence scores. This is the highest badge a vendor can earn in the Grid Reports.
  • High Performer: High performing products have high customer satisfaction and low market presences scores from real product users.
  • Contender: Products who earn the Contender badge have low customer satisfaction and high market presence scores.
  • Niche: A vendor earns a Niche badge if they have low satisfaction and low market presence scores.
