Ascensus (Illinois Secure Choice) is a state-facilitated retirement savings program in Illinois (now also known as My Illinois Savings) administered by the financial services firm Ascensus. It helps private-sector workers save for retirement through automatic payroll deductions into a Roth IRA if their employer does not offer a workplace retirement plan.
