What is on-demand pay?

On-demand pay, also known as earned wage access (EWA), gives employees the ability to access wages they’ve already earned before their scheduled payday. Instead of waiting two weeks for a paycheck, employees can transfer some or all of what they’ve earned at any point in the pay cycle. APS On-Demand Pay delivers this benefit through DailyPay Built-In, an industry-leading earned wage access provider integrated directly into the APS platform.

Does APS On-Demand Pay cost my business anything?

APS On-Demand Pay is integrated through DailyPay Built-In and is added to your APS platform at no extra cost. There’s no separate contract, no implementation fee, and no change to your existing payroll process. Employees may pay a small fee for instant transfers if they choose that option, but standard transfer methods are typically available at no employee cost.

Does on-demand pay change how my payroll team operates?

No. That’s one of the most important things to know. Your APS payroll process runs exactly the same way it does today. Wages employees access early through DailyPay are automatically reconciled in the next regular payroll run. Your payroll team doesn’t take on new tasks, new reconciliations, or new compliance work to offer this benefit.

Currently, only APS clients who are using both the APS Payroll and Attendance solutions are eligible. Most salaried employees are eligible (excludes salaries greater than $200,000 per year).
